A few diners have noted that the fries can sometimes be less crispy than expected, which may disappoint those seeking that perfect texture. While the majority of reviews highlight the friendly service, a few customers mentioned they encountered slower service during peak times. Additionally, those who enjoy their meals with a wide variety of sauces found the lack of tartar sauce available a slight letdown, especially considering the restaurant's focus on quality fish. Some have also observed that the casual atmosphere sometimes leads to noise levels that could detract from the dining experience.
My husband and I piped up for fish and chips. We tried cod large it took around 5min. Seems like they used fresh cod. Huge cod and fresh potato chips. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I paid around £10.50 as take away. Good place and nice clean seating area. We will visit again. Thanks 😊
Our neighbour had recommended this place and it was totally worth it! Lovely and friendly staff, super welcoming and friendly. Alan is amazing and so was the chef. Cod is a must try! The staff goes to length to ensure customers are well fed.
This place certainly lives up to the hype around Fish and Chips! This was my first time having fish and chips in the UK and I was extremely satisfied with the cod we were served. As a visitor, I was expecting to get tartar sauce with the meal as well, but was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the fish was even without sauce. Would highly recommend this excellent place!
I've only ever got takeaway. Fried just right and not at all oily. Good value.
Ordered takeaway fish and chips and it was perfect! The fish itself was really good. Will come again!
Wanted to try a new place out and the pavilion definitely did not disappoint. The cod was perfect, not to oily and the chips were great. The service was 10/10 from the chefs to the servers always smiling, checking on us and definitely made me and my family happy. Would 100% come again
I couldn't find a better fish and chips place in Wimbledon. The staff are friendly, talkative and do their best to help you choose the food to your liking. A great fish restaurant where you can find all kinds of seafood, with or without bones, with or without a special batter coating, I highly recommend you try it
